UGC-NET June 2026 results declared for 84 subjects
NTA has declared the UGC-NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects after processing the challenges received against the provisional answer keys.
6,07,151 candidates appeared in the 84 subjects. 4,241 qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor, 45,904 for Assistant Professor and Ph.D. admission, and 97,434 for Ph.D. only.
Results for Commerce, English and Sociology are not included yet. Their examinations are being re-conducted on 9 and 10 September 2026.

The June 2026 Commerce paper is being held again
NTA received complaints about the Commerce, English and Sociology papers and put a committee on them. It found factual, typographical and translation errors, misspelt scholar names, garbled book titles and repeated questions. All three papers are being re-conducted.
Commerce sits again on 9 September 2026, Shift 2, 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
You do not re-apply and you do not pay again. Exam city, centre and admit card come in a separate NTA notice.
